John 1:1-4.  

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.  Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  n him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

 

Romans 3:23.  

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

 

Matthew 11:28-29.  

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
