Where do we go from here?

I am sitting here starting to face the reality that with schools closed and recommendations by the government that we not meet in groups bigger than 10, that youth group will look a little different than it has in the past. Of course, you woke up with the same feeling because you are at home on a weekday that isn't a holiday.

Let me start by saying that I am thankful that the Church is not a building, because if it was we would be in trouble. We are the church and the community that we share every week will continue. Hebrews says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching." This idea of meeting together may have to look different, but should not stop us from encouraging and helping each other during this time.

So how do we do this? Let's start with what is happening this week. We will not have any activities on Wednesday night or Sunday and one service will be streamed on Facebook and Livestream on Sunday. We are waiting on a board meeting Thursday night. There they will decide what we can and cannot do in the building. We will not have a full plan of action for teens till at least Sunday.

In the meantime, we are going to meet on a video conference call. We will post time/date and platform with a link sometime on Tuesday. Come join us to share your thoughts and prayer requests, get information and maybe even win a prize. Keep checking Instagram and this blog for more information. If you need anything or would just like a call feel free to call us. We want to stay in contact.

We are here to love and encourage you during this uncertain time. Like I said Sunday, we have an unshakable kingdom and we can still praise and worship God for all that He has given us.
