This may be the first time you have ever been to Convention.  What do you need to do?

If you are the primary NYI representative at your church, you will need to register your church for the convention.  Everyone can come to convention  but in order for your local NYI delegates to vote, they need to register online at the button above. Make sure you have the right number of delegates and that they are members of your local church.

Make sure you also fill out the Honor Plan for your church.  This is just a recognition of how involved your youth group has been at district events this year.  Each church that fills this out will receive a certificate.

Be here at 8:30 to check-in, have some light breakfast, and hang out with your district friends, catching up on your summer.

We will begin the official portion of the convention at 9:30.  Your delegates that you have registered will be voting on the nominees who will be on this year's council and hearing reports from events in the past year.

On this site there are pages for nominee videos so you can see who they are and where they are from.  You will be able to see the financial reports and presidents reports as well as a list of district activities for the upcoming year.

Then at 11:30 am, we decided to go big this year and we have brought in Jared Hall, an incredible magician and communicator.

Its going to be a great time.  And its absolutely FREE!  Invite your church, invite your teens to this years convention.
